Filipino bet Xipto Esports for VALORANT glory on the world stage was eliminated in the Lower Bracket by hometown squad Ninetails in the VALORANT Game Changers Championship in Seoul, South Korea. The squad that featured four Filipino players in Mary ‘capricious’ Sabado, Leanne ‘grahams’ Ti-in, Loraine ‘kon’ Pagente, and Kim ‘PIETY’ Guia couldn’t keep up with the teamwork of Ninetail as they fell 2-1 in their series and are forced to bow out of the competition early.

The first map of the series for Xipto Esports went to their map pick of Pearl. After grabbing the Pistol round, it all just went downhill for Xipto Esports as the Koreans easily figured them out after a few rounds and chained together nine straight rounds. The second half of Pearl wasn’t much better for Xipto as Ninetails only allowed one more round from them before closing them out 13-4. Sentinel player Jeong ‘FullMoon’ Ye-jin was a monster throughout with an Average Combat Score (ACS) 305 with her 19 big kills.
Map 2 was on Ninetails’s map pick, Bind. Xipto Esports once again found the first pistol round of the game but this time they defended their advantage. The first half was a tight contest but Xipto Esports found a way to break away from their deadlock in the second half to equalize the series. Grahams on her Yoru created alot of problems for Ninetails as she tallied an impressive 5 first kills in the map.
With both teams playing for tournament life, the series would be settled on Split. Ninetails finally won an early pistol round in the map and it revitalized their offense tremendously. There would be no curse for the Koreans after an impressive 9-3 half. There would be no comeback bid for Xipto with FullMoon one again leading the charge for Ninetails as they closed it out with a convincing 13-5 scoreline.
Xipto Esports bow out of the competition and the other lone Filipino player in the tournament, Kelly ‘shirazi’ Jaudian was similarly also sent home by Brazilian squad KRU Blaze.
