Largo is a surprise addition in Dota 2’s latest patch. After the Monster Hunter collab that breathed new life with the game’s highest concurrent players in recent history, Valve wants to keep the momentum going with this froggy new addition to the game. Largo, is a Strength type support hero, that can deal AoE magic damage and support his team with a melody for the masses.

Largo, the bard from the lands of Velu’Mar, is a welcome addition to the Dota 2 roster to bring much-needed variety in the support role. Here are Largo’s abilities:
Catchy Lick:
Largo licks a target and pull them back a small distance. Damage will be dealt against enemies while allies will get a nifty dispel.
Frogstomp:
Largo tosses a bunch of froglings in the area that apply damage and ministuns to enemies that linger in the area.
Croak of Genius:
Largo strums a tune to a friendly hero. The allied hero will have reduced mana costs for both their items and abilities. They will also reverberate the damage done over a course of five seconds.
Amphibian Rhapsody (Ultimate):
The bard is disarmed and and he recieves three different songs that players much time to the beat of the song for maximum effect. Who knew musical rhythm would be important in Dota 2 someday?
Apart from the newest hero, the update will also bring a bunch of map changes to the game. Key to the changes are the Wisdom Rune spawn being placed in a lowered part with less vision so contests will be alot riskier. Three new neutral items were also added while Slark, Lone Druid, and Treant Protector received some reworks.
The patch brings a smorgasbord of changes worth checking out and is now live.
