With both teams already in the Lower Bracket, a costly mistake will be enough to send them packing. Blacklist International take on Twisted Minds, a European team, and definitely will be liking their chances. On the other hand, BOOM Esports have a more challenging match-up against Malaysia’s Alpha Gaming. Both teams see action tomorrow, November 28.

Blacklist International came into KIC 2025 as the 1st seed from their Championship run at the recently concluded Philippine King’s League Fall Edition. Blacklist International had a clean run in Group A as the Upper Bracket winner with dominant performances against fellow Filipino squad A.C.T. Esports, who have already been eliminated from contention, and Indonesian squad Vesakha Esports.
Their first match-up for the playoffs had them going up against longtime rivals BOOM Esports which they won 4-1. The 2nd round of the playoffs saw the team go toe-to-toe against Malaysian champs Homebois BSE. It went the distance going all the way to the Ultimate Battle but the experience of Homebois BSE was the deciding factor. All eyes will be on Golden ‘Goldenk1te’ Dajao, who impressively achieved a Pentakill against BOOM Esports in their first-round match-up, to lead the team into the next round of KIC 2025.
BOOM Esports has had a rougher go at KIC 2025. In Group C, they already dropped a series against Alpha Gaming before fighting it out at the Lower Bracket in the Groups to earn their slot in the playoffs. BOOM Esports were sent down to the Lower Bracket after their first-round match against Blacklist International. Their Lower Bracket match was a convincing sweed against Vesakha Esports. With a rematch against Alpha Gaming on the horizon, revenge will definitely be on the menu for the boys of BOOM Esports.
KIC 2025 will run until Sunday, November 30 at Ayala Malls by the Bay. Winners will take home the lion’s share of the 1,000,000 USD prize pool. The top three finishers will earn a slot at the upcoming Challengers Cup 2025 in Shanghai, China.
