The long-time Mobile Legends: Bang Bang rivalry between the Philippines and Indonesia saw another chapter added at the M7 World Championship Grand Finals. Aurora PH wanted a sixth straight M-Series trophy for the Philippines while Indonesia wanted another Championship after winning only the first edition of the tournament way back in 2019. All gloves were off at the Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan in Jakarta, Indonesia as the two titans of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang clashed. But in the end The Northern Lights did not make it close as they swept Alter Ego 4-0 in the Grand Finals.

The first three games were all just dominant performances from Aurora PH. Unlike in Alter Ego’s series against Team Liquid just yesterday, the Indonesians did not look flexible in their losing drafts. With Alter Ego looking to avoid a sweep in front of their fans in Jakarta. Alter Ego were crumbling against the confident charge of Aurora PH as they dominated early with a 9-2 lead. Star jungler Muhammad Affan ‘Yazukee’ Wahyudi just couldn’t catch a break throughout the series and in Game 4 it was no different. Aurora Gaming were not gonna be denied like Team Liquid PH before them as they bring the trophy to the Philippines anew for the sixth time with utter dominance.
Mr. Consistent Edward ‘Edward’ Dapadap claimed his second M-Series trophy while Dylan ‘Light’ Catipon claims the much deserved Finals MVP for the series.
Earlier in the day, Moonton Games announced that for the first time an M-Series tournament will take place outside of Asia. The M8 Championship in 2027 will be heading to Istanbul, Turkey to mark a monumental ocassion for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports.
