SIBOL gears up for another medal-laden campaign at the 33rd SEA Games

The 33rd SEA Games in Thailand is upon us and the SIBOL Mobile Legends: Bang Bang stars of the country are going for even more Gold Medals. SIBOL took home the Gold in the 2023 edition at the expense of Malaysia at Phnom Penh, Cambodia. With a star-studded roster in the upcoming meet at the Sala Phra Kieo at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand, expectations will be high for this year’s edition as well which will take place from December 13-17, 2025.

With SIBOL Men’s MLBB roster featuring the boys from Team Liquid who are fresh from a championship run at the recently concluded Mobile Legends Professional League Philippines Season 16, they are a strong favorite to win it all. With Kiel “Oheb” Soriano, Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno, Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya, Alston “Sanji” Pabico, Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz in the fold, it will be hard not to root for this powerhouse. Young gun John Carlo “Caloy” Roma of Twisted Minds PH will round off the squad as a substitute. Head coach for the boys will be Team Liquid PH coach Rodel ‘Ar Sy’ Cruz.

The Indonesia and Malaysia squads are the ones who are expecting to challenge SIBOL the most for the MLBB tournament of the 33rd SEA Games. Last year the Indonesia squad surprisingly sputtered out in the Group Stage so expect Indonesia to be playing with a chip on their shoulder for this one.

Apart from the MLBB Men’s team, the Philippines will also be featuring a Women’s team for MLBB. The Women’s team won the Silver in the last edition of the SEA games against Indonesia. With more experience this time around, the girls who play professionally from Natus Vincere PH will be gunning for gold.

To round off the Philippine reps, the Philippines will also feature an Arena of Valor team. Fans shouldn’t cout out Jovani Ejercito, John Fernand Marino, Argie Odtuhan, Michael Gonzaga, and Harold Cabaguing as they try to bring the nation even more glory at the 33rd SEA Games.
