Game 1 had BOOM Esports kick off things with Pei for their superstar jungler, Karl ‘Karll’ Bautista. While the Filipinos managed to grab a few kills early. But once Alpha Gaming started to invade the BOOM Esports jungle with Fang ‘YuLong’ Longhui’s Ukyo Tachibana, the map just became smaller for Karll and the boys. Alpha Gaming closed Game 1 in under thirteen minutes to take the lead in the series.

Alpha Gaming was once again firing from all cylinders in Game 2. The Athena roam support from Han Hui ‘Saber’ Chong was suffocating Karll from minute zero. With Karll shutdown, Alpha Gaming took control of the map in dominant fashion with an Ace even a Triple Kill for their cores. Alpha ran away with a 2-0 start in the series.

BOOM Esports had to win Game 3 or else they would have been in a world of hurt. The Filipino squad managed to pick up the Ao’Yin, Agudo, and Guan Yu to keep their tournament hopes alive in Game 3. BOOM Esports grouped up early behind Karll’s Agudo and it paid off as they racked up eight kills in nine minutes. Miguel ‘Miggie’ Banaag was picture perfect for BOOM Esports with his Guan Yu finding crucial pick after crucial pick to keep the Top 4 dream alive.

Game 4 was set to be a banger with both teams drafting clash-oriented line-ups. Karll’s Jing against YuLong’s Luna was a jungler match-up for the ages. The early game only had a few kills with both teams on form to take Game 4. But this time it was Alpha Gaming’s clash laner Lee Han ‘Siang”s Dharma who stole the spotlight with perfect ultimates. Alpha Gaming made it look easy against BOOM with YuLong securing all the major objectives for the Malaysians.

Alpha Gaming went for the jugular in Game 5. The first Tyrant of the game ended up being stolen by Karll’s Nezha but the preceding team fight was still equal with three kills each for the two squads. The map spacing of Alpha Gaming with Liu Bang and Feyd kept giving BOOM Esports problems. In the late game, a big pick from Saber’s Lapupu found a big pick on Heri ‘Tatsuri’ Garcia’s Lady Zhen to close out the series.

Alpha Gaming make it into the Top 4 of KIC 2025 while BOOM Esports bow out of the competition. Action at KIC 2025 continues until Sunday, November 30.
