Multiple users around the world reported issues regarding connectivity issues with Amazon Web Services, impacting many of the world’s most popular internet services today, October 20. This included Epic Games, Fortnite, Roblox, Duolingo, and many more. The internet outage was first reported mid-afternoon Philippine time.
Downdetector.com, a popular website used by many netizens to check for widespread internet issues, pinged even more websites currently having issues. Several of the affected websites have also posted to inform users of the problem and are working to get things fixed as soon as possible.
The most heavily affected services are Epic Games, Roblox, Zoom, Snapchat, and Reddit. But the majority of the internet is being affected by the ongoing internet outage, and even Steam and Canva have been reported to be having issues, among many others, with this widespread outage.
