Blacklist International crowned PKL Fall Season 2025 Champions

Blacklist International finally had its sweet revenge against BOOM Esports in the Philippine King’s League Fall 2025, as it came out on top of their grueling Best-of-Seven series to claim the Fall championship of the PKL with a 4-3 scoreline.

Blacklist International clash laner Chammy ‘Chammy1’ Nazarrea was awarded the coveted Finals MVP with dominant performances that wowed the crowd at Ayala Malls Trinoma’s Activity Center.

BOOM entered the Grand Finals with something to prove: The defending champions wanted a repeat of PKL Spring’s glory. Blacklist, fresh off securing dominance in the Upper Bracket after sending BOOM Esports down, had momentum and a target on their backs. The crowd at Trinoma wasn’t just watching a match — they were watching a legacy be tested.

Blacklist International drew first blood against BOOM Esports, taking Game 1 with a quick 12-minute rout. Chammy1’s Fatih gave an impressive all-around performance with four kills and eleven assists.

But a roaring rally from BOOM Esports in Games 2 and 3 paved the way for them to wrest control from Blacklist International in the series. BOOM Esports needed a star, and Karl ‘Karll’ Bautista rose to the occasion. Karll had an unkillable Luna in Game 2, and his Agudo led the charge for BOOM Esports to take control of the map for Game 3 alongside Heri ‘Tatsuriii’ Garcia’s Wang Zhaojun.

With Game 4 turning into a must-win for Blacklist International, it was roamer Charles ‘Chazz’ Esguerra on his Zhang Fei who fueled the comeback. Beautifully timed ultimates from Chazz helped break the deadlock and secured the equalizer for the Codebreakers.

With the series going the distance, the teams continued to show that they were as evenly matched as they were in the Spring championship. BOOM Esports’ risk with a Kongming-based draft for Tatsuriii paid off greatly. The BOOM Esports mid laner led the way with seven kills and six assists.

In Game 6, with the series on the line for Blacklist International, coach Gerald ‘Tgee’ Delacio trusted in Dragon ‘Dragon’ Dajao’s Gan & Mo. Dragon rode his good start in Game 6 for a flawless performance in the mid lane.

It was going to be decided once again with the Ultimate Battle ruleset, where both teams partake in a blind draft against one another with no hero restrictions. It was Blacklist International’s turn to deathball with an Agudo-Yuhuan lineup, and they made quick work of BOOM Esports in just nine minutes.

With the conclusion of the Philippine King’s League Fall 2025, four Filipino teams (Blacklist International, BOOM Esports, Elevate, and A.C.T. Esports Club) have secured slots in the upcoming international LAN, the Honor of Kings International Championship 2025, which will take place in Manila, Philippines, later this year.
